Directions from Austin, Texas:
Follow I-35 South to exit 173 in Selma.
Merge onto I-35 Frontage Road and turn right on to Retama Parkway.
Directions from San Antonio, Texas:
Get on 1-37 N. Take exit 142A for I-35 North toward Austin.
Merge onto 1-35 North and take exit 174A.
Merge onto 1-35 Frontage Road and turn onto Retama Parkway.

Parking at Retama Parkway is free and gates open at 10:30 a.m. Wed-Sun.
Retama Park Policies
Parking is free year-round for all simulcast and live racing guests. Simulcast guests should park in the VIP lot located on the right side of the building when facing the front and enter through the valet gate.
General admission for Triple Crown days and live racing is $5 per person. Selma residents and horsemen are free with valid ID. Children 5 & under are free. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or ahead of time here.

Cameras with removeable lenses, drones, tripods and flash photography are not permitted inside of the venue.
There is a clear bag policy for all guests and staff, including children. All bags must meet these specifications:
- Only clear bags, totes and backpacks not exceeding 12"x6"x12" are allowed.
- One gallon clear plastic freezer bags are permitted.
- Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand; must not exceed 5"x7".
- Laptop bags may be subject to security checks upon entry. Management retains the right to deny entry with laptop bags.
- Medical bags containing necessary health items are acceptable after proper inspection and approval from venue personnel/security.
Children of all ages can attend. Ages 5 and under are free admission. Ages 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. You must be 21 and older to wager.
No outside food or beverages are permitted on property.
Retama Park is not responsible for lost wagering tickets or cash vouchers.
Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes is only allowed outdoors in designated smoking areas. There is no smoking inside of the building.
Casual wear including jeans, shorts, flipflops, tank tops and hats are permitted in all areas of the track. Guests must wear a shirt, shoes and pants, or equivalent, at all times. Clothing that is considered vulgar, obscene, profane, offensive or promotes violence is not permitted.
