Fireworks & Live Racing

Join us for live quarter horse racing and a spectacular fireworks show sponsored by The City of Selma. 

 

Post time of Race 1 is 4:30pm.

Fireworks begin approximately at 9 PM.

Stars and Stripes Spectacular

presented by University Health Retama Hospital

 

Enjoy family-friendly fun with local vendors, games, bounce houses, horse rides, and food and drink specials throughout the evening. Cap off the night with a fireworks show starting at approximately 9 PM.

 

No ticket purchase required. All ages are welcome.

Meet and Greet

Meet and take photos with the camels, ostriches, and zebras before they race on July 17 & 18. This day's races feature horses only.

Our most unique racing event returns — now featuring Zebras! Between live horse races, camels, ostriches, and zebras will race. Wagering is only available on the horse races.

  • Ostriches - After horse race 5 
  • Camels - After horse race 7

Diamond Dig

Gates open at 5 PM

 

Dress comfortably because we are digging for diamonds!

After the 7th live race of the night, ladies ages 18+ are invited to come down to the track and dig for a hidden diamond pendant necklace valued at $2,500. First to find the necklace gets to keep it!

Weenie Dog Races - Closing night

Help us close out the live racing season with weener dog races!

The dog races will take place between the horse races. Winner of each dog race will compete in a final race for their chance to win CASH!

Kids 5 & under get in FREE.

  Live racing post time is 6:45 PM.

Parking is free.

 

Only dogs racing are permitted into the park this night.
